OBJECTIVE: Nike Basketball seeked to launch the PG3 x NASA sneaker collaboration with a larger than life moment that encapsulated grassroots hoops culture to enhance brand visibility, engagement and product sell-thru with today’s Gen-Z athletes and consumers.
STRATEGY: We developed an exhilarating high school basketball showcase at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, FL that featured a pop-up basketball court where four rival teams competed wearing the new PG3 x NASA sneakers. Off the court, we integrated Nike's key retail partner Finish Line to enhance digital sales and created a Snapchat experience that provided the elite athletes and fans in attendance a one-of-a-kind digital moment.
